 Testing Station for Weapons and Ammunition Our tunnel-type testing gallery for civilian weapons and explosive ordnance and for military weapons and ammunition of caliber up to 37 mm has represented a unique site without a parallel in the Czech Republic since 1978. From five testing tunnels, the longest one enables shooting over the distance of 100 m. They are all equipped with devices for testing of guns and ammunition under arduous conditions in accordance with civil and military standards and regulations. An experienced team of professionals, acting under the trademark of PROTOTYPA – is prepared to consult on any matters of development, manufacture, testing and exploitation of hunting, sporting, historical, military and special weapons, and ammunition for them, as well as on any problems related to testing methods, instruments and devices, aerial rocket/missile carriers for unguided aerial vehicles and other special technical products. The testing station for weapons, ammunition and protective means offers the following tests: - Measurement of projectile velocity.

- Measurement of propellant gases pressure by means of Crusher pressure measuring bodies.

Ballistic Appliances Ballistic Measuring Devices PROTOTYPA is a monopolistic supplier of ballistic measuring devices in the Czech Republic. It develops, manufactures, supplies and tests instruments for calibers of up to 35 mm. Measuring instruments for testing of calibers for hunting, sporting, pistol a revolver type weapons are manufactured in accordance with the C. I. P. international standards. It utilizes optical sensing of projectile passage. The basic equipment contains an integrated evaluation unit equipped with WLAN module enabling wireless communication to a display terminal (desktop PC, notebook etc.). At the same time it makes possible a direct connection to LAN (10/100 Ethernet) and contains a standard RS 232 interface. Processing of captured data is done via incorporated client software for MS Windows (95, 98, NT, 2000, XP) and Linux operating systems that displays immediate and statistically processed measured values and their graphic presentations.
