Saint-Tech continues to introduce PASCO technologies for chemistry, biology and physics classrooms to Latvian teachers and students. This time we took part in the SKOLA 2017 fair in Riga, where we demonstrated the way how PASCO scientific gadgets could be used for modern, easy and interactive studying of the Sciences. Also we have shown safe and high quality fume cupboard from company Hemling Laborbau Systeme. We are thankful to all visitors who were interested to visit our booth. Pictures from the fair could be found in our gallery.
SIA Saint-Tech have developed unique climate chamber with a system, which ensures possibility to adjust parameters of the micro climate inside chamber depending on the ecological requirements of the sample, including mode WINTER, climate changes in the earthday. There is a possibility to control certain parameters of the micro climate – humidity, temperature, illumination. Illumination is realized as universal spectral formula, to ensure good conditions for animal and plant growth. Illumination is controlled in the modes day-night, sunrise-sunset, intensity, RGB control (red, yellow, green, blue, UV)
On November of 9th seminar about Analytik Jena ICP-OES, ICP-MS and AAS instrument and methods was held in Riga. There were visitors from different scientific organizations and not only. It was a good opportunity to learn about new methods of metal analysis using newest methods and technologies. For example did you know that Analytik Jena ICP instrument can work only with 9L/min helium consumption, and atomic absorption spectrometer contra 800 can detect full metal spectrum only with one lamp. In cooperation with Dr. Ioan Marcu and Dr. Jan Scholz these and not only these features were shown to 52 seminar attendees.
On October of 21st Saint-Tech took part in the MSAC scientific conference held in Riga Technical University. On our booth we demonstarted PASCO teaching gadgets and devices for Chemistry, Physics and Biology classrooms, and as well different laboratory equipment manufacturer catalogs. We also gave a speech about modern and certified fume cupboards, its testing and standarts. For example do you know that simple not certified fume cupboard needs additionally 3720,00 Eur for heating / electrocoty bill during 5 years of use?
On September of 1st new Exupery School was opened in Pinki. We also took part in this unusual and interesting project. Our role was to install qualitative, safe and stylish furniture for Physics and Chemistry classrooms. Now pupils can study Physics and Chemistry and not to be afraid of breaking or damaging worktops with reagents or to be poisoned by reagents, because we have installed Asecos reagents safety storage cabinets and Hemling Laborbau Systeme fume cupboard with ventilation system. All worktops are made from chemically and mechanically resistant material Trespa. In the Physics classroom all pupil’s benches are connected to teacher’s table, which allows teacher to control electrical supply during works and fully avoid a risk of the accidents. We are proud that we had this opportunity to take part in this project and we hope that furniture will serve long time to pupils, school, education and Latvia. More pictures you could find on our webpage in the Project section.
